Today, I sent out the first email in my 30 Day Daily Writing Challenge. Last night, I kept waking up because I was so excited and nervous and anxious about today. I had thoughts of "I can't believe you are doing this! This is super exciting! People need this in their lives!" and then a thought would creep in, "What are you doing? People are going to criticize you and not like it. You don't even know what you are doing!" I kept believing both voices.
I tried to keep myself in a curious spot by asking, "What if they do criticize me? What will I think then? Am I in any danger by doing this? The worst thing that can happen is that they ask for their $29 back. So what? I can afford to refund them."
So today I showed up anyway and decided the possibility of what could come from this course is worth the risk. I sent out the email and I relaxed into the feeling of accomplishment! I felt love for those that trusted me enough to sign up. I felt pride in myself for doing this. I felt amazed in what I have accomplished this past 14 months since I started Life Coach training. And I said to myself, "Thank you past Meredith for showing up everyday and for paving a way for me to be running my own business, helping people write their books and providing a challenge that anyone can participate in and learn from."
I gave myself a proverbial HIGH FIVE! I did it. I am so excited I did.
